![]() ![]() The 6 points perspective gridĪ 360 picture can be shown in several ways (tiny planet, 3D cube.) but I found the best way for me to work is using an equirectangular image, on which you apply a 6 points perspective grid. Here are the THREE steps I take to do it on paper: 1. That's why, whenever I can, I do my 360 illustrations on 100% real paper. But when doing commissions on comicbook conventions, I like to go back to pen, paper and watercolors. When doing work professionnaly, I mostly draw digitally. On Day 5, the theme, "Long", inspired me to do a looooong labyrinth in 360. So, during Inktober 2017 - an event where artists have to publish online ONE drawing per day - I'm doing just that: one virtual reality drawing a day, so I can show how much fun I'm having to the whole world. Using the new digital tools (animated gifs, turbomedia, infinite canvas and 360 pics), I try to tell compelling stories, doing my best to keep a clear and smooth storytelling.įor about a year, I've been working on doing 360 illustrations - but due to NDA with the companies that hired me, couldn't show anything, which of course was FRUSTRATIIIIING. Hey there! I'm JL mast, I'm a french artist and most of my young carreer have consisted in working during the last five years for marvel comics (doing layouts for digital comics like Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome mix Daredevil/Punisher: Seventh Circle Ultimate Spider-man Infinite.) and more recently Disney. You can follow him on Kuula, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In this article, he shares his 360 drawing workflow and techniques. He loves 360 drawing and as part of the Inktober initiative, he decided to draw a new image everyday this month. He works with MARVEL on titles including Daredevil / Punisher Infinite, A Year of Marvel: Amazing Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy & Avengers Millennium. I will be back tomorrow with more drawing fun so keep your eyes peeled everyone you never know what you might see next.JL Mast is an artist and illustrator from Lille, France. There are only a total of four steps which makes this tutorial easy to tackle and learn. Or how to draw the Punisher symbol or logo, which ever you prefer. Anyway, I know that you will love this online drawing lesson on how to draw the Punisher skull step by step. If you go look at some photos of them both, you will see a big resemblance. The guy that plays Frank Castle is Thomas Jane and I often get him mixed up with that other guy that started in Highlander Christopher Lambert. And I have to tell you the movie freakin rocked, I really loved it. There was this really cool movie that was released back in 2004 which was about the Punisher. He will stop at nothing when it comes to stopping any kind of crime that is on the streets or in his face. Now because Frank is a war veteran, he is a master of martial arts, stealth tactics, and a wide variety of different types of weapons. He changed his vengeance fighting name to “The Punisher” because he was out to punish those responsible for the death of his family. Once he recovered from his injuries he set out to get some serious revenge on the very same people that took the only thing that nattered to him away, his family. Frank also got wounded and the mobs thought that he was dead, but guess what? They thought wrong. Sadly his wife and son was murdered along with some of his other family members like his father and in-laws by a bunch of mob hit-men. The Punishers real name is Frank Castle and he had a loving family that simply adored him. They designed and created one of the baddest looking, awesomest fight, and unique design characters ever. You see, the Punisher is a fictional character made up by the Marvel Comics team. Now I know everyone loves skulls, and almost everyone has heard of the Punisher right? Just in case there are some folks out there that have never heard of the Punisher let me fill you in briefly. In This next tutorial I will be showing you how to draw the Punisher skull step by step. This next drawing lesson was a request by a member of DragoArt and I have to say “thank you for the request because I was actually going to do this tutorial but totally forgot” so again thank you for reminding me. Okay people, this is going to be my last tutorial for the day and I thought that I would end it with something cool. ![]()
